Sorry, folks, we know you're still recovering from that white and gold dress (or was it black and blue?), but it looks like we've just got ourselves a new brain teaser; And you can thank Billie Eilish for this one. We should warn ya, it might leave you questioning reality.
How did it all go down? It started when the grunge queen took to the 'gram to share her latest designer kicks with the rest of us. Nothing unusual, right? But what was unusual, was the backlash that soon followed...
You see, if you ask Billie's dad, the Nike Air sneakers were colored pink and white; But, well, if you ask Billie? They're 'obviously not.' Little did she know, though, her dad wasn't the only one she'd have to fight on this one.
"Not you guys saying they're pink and white too," the singer shared on her Instagram story. Well, go ahead and take a good look for yourself. What do you see? Pink and white? Mint and white?
"I don't know what happened to you in your f***ing childhoods," Billie joked in the story, "but pink and white?!?" Rest assured, the outspoken star wasn't done just yet. In only a matter of time, Eilish hit back at the "pink and white"-ers the best way she possibly could.
...By pulling up the receipts, literally. After sharing a screenshot of the controversial Nike Airs from the internet, the Ocean Eyes artist put the feud to rest, once and for all: indeed, they were mint and white, after all.
“So we all know that I’m right here, even if you see something else. Underneath it all, I’m right,” Eilish joked. Mind. Blown. You guys. Then again, if anyone's going to leave us questioning everything we know, it's obviously going to be the same girl who once cried black tears on Youtube...
Something tells us the When The Party's Over songstress has got many more tricks up her sleeve. I'd stay tuned if I were you.
