Here's What You Missed at Last Night's People Choice Awards

The people have finally spoken, folks, and we've got everything you need to know. That's right, last night, E!'s annual People's Choice Awards finally took to our screens, alongside host Demi Lovato, and you can bet it was a night to remember. So, what went down exactly?

For starters, this year's PCA's was unlike any ever done before, and there are one billion reasons for that - literally. Since polls first opened back in September, one billion votes were cast by loyal fans like us, making it the first awards show to reach that milestone. Yep, feel free to go ahead and give yourself a pat on the back.

Well, now that that's out of the way, let's break down all of the good stuff; You know, like which of your favorite celebs walked home a winner last night? With big-names like the Biebs and Lady Gaga up for nominations, it's safe to say the competition was tight this year.

That being said, drumroll, please. The winner of 'The Comedy Movie of 2020' goes to: None other than, The Kissing Booth 2; The winner of 'The Reality Show of 2020?' Of course, Keeping Up With the Kardashians. Other big wins included Outer Banks for the 'Most Bingeworthy Show of 2020,' as well as The Ellen DeGeneres Show for 'The Daytime Talkshow of 2020.'

Of course, though, the highlight of last night might just have to have been the moment that the one and only J.Lo landed herself the esteemed title of 'People's Icon of 2020;' And, yes, her acceptance speech was exactly as remarkable as you expected. "Man, 2020 was no joke, right?," the singer began. "I mean, before 2020, we were obsessing about winning... or we were caught up on who sold the most records or who had the biggest box office opening... but not this year," Lopez continued.

As she put it, "This year was the great leveler that showed us what mattered and what didn't... People. All of us, together, helping each other, loving each other, being kind to each other." We couldn't agree more, Jenny.
