Carole Baskin, the infamous star of Netflix's Tiger King, has been notably silent and declining all requests for interviews ever since the show took over every TV in America.
After the airing of the show, many theorized that Carole murdered her husband who suddenly went missing in 1997 (although there is no evidence). There are even rumors floating around that Carole fed her husband to the tigers at her wildlife sanctuary, Big Cat Rescue. (Again, no evidence).
Because of the heavy scrutiny Carole faced, she has declined all interviews. However, pranksters Josh Pieters and Archie Manners managed to convince Carole to do an interview by pretending they worked for The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon.
Through emails with her and her current husband, lawyer Howard Baskin, they convinced her that they work for a third-party production company that works directly with The Tonight Show.
After Carole agreed, they pulled audio from other interviews Jimmy has done that would align with the questions "Jimmy" would be asking her. They all hopped on a video call, where the guys explained that she'd only be able to hear Jimmy, not see him.
After they successfully conducted the interview by only using audio from Jimmy's past tapings, they posted it on YouTube, where its already surpassed 1M views.
Carole responded to the pranksters in a statement to CNN, saying, "I was suspicious as we were doing it because the questions appeared taped. But I had no idea it would turn out to be such a fun prank. It gave us a good laugh."
