Hannah Montana Miley Cyrus to Sonny Demi Lovato, we've watched countless Disney stars grow up on our screens. But that's not who we'll be talking about today. That's right, today's guest of honor may have, too, once graced our screens as a troublemaking teen, but her latest accomplishment has just taken her from Disney prodigy to Drama queen.
Confused? We've got you covered...
Just a few days ago, Zendaya Coleman, who you now know as 'Rue Bennett,' woke-up to some pretty major news; news that left her "speechless," as she proudly put it. What exactly went down?

I’m honestly speechless, my heart is just overflowing with love and gratitude. I’m so incredibly honored to work beside the talented people that I get to call family. I am a small piece of a big beautiful puzzle and I’m so proud of all of you. Thank you to everyone out there who’s watched and given our show life, thank you @samlev00 @hbo @a24 for everything and @televisionacad for this beautiful acknowledgment, thank you, thank you, thank you. We out here Emmy nominated y’all!!
"I'm honestly speechless, my heart is just overflowing with love and gratitude," Coleman wrote, as news broke of her first-ever Emmy nomination, "Best Actress in a Drama," for her role as 'Rue' in HBO's Euphoria.
That's right, on Tuesday, July 29th, the 23-year-old landed herself a swanky spot on the annual roundup of nominations, alongside other A-list stars and their noteworthy roles. Well, who is she up against?
This year's 'best-actress-in-a-drama' category also features big names like Jennifer Aniston, and her role in The Morning Show, Laura Linney for her role in Ozark, Olivia Colman in The Crown, and both Sandra Oh and Jodie Comer for their roles in Killing Eve.
While we couldn't be more excited for Coleman as she reaches a new milestone in her decades-long career, I guess we'll have to wait and see if she'll soon get to tick off yet another accomplishment - her first-ever Emmy win.
What do you think? Either way, I'd stay tuned if I were you; Something tells me she's just getting started.
