One Store’s Hilarious Hack Against Hand Sanitizer Hoarders

I would’ve thought you were crazy if you’d have told me years ago that Purell and toilet paper would soon come to cost me an arm and a leg. Unfortunately, with the rapid spread of COVID-19 upon us, that’s the current reality we’re dealing with.

Shoppers worldwide have taken to their local stores to buy out every single hand sanitizer and toilet paper on the shelves, but one store has finally had enough with this greedy hoarding habit…

Rotunden supermarket in Denmark prides itself on the quality of both its products and shoppers. That’s why they’ve decided to take a stand against those ‘stealing’ all of its hand sanitizers from those in actual need.

From now on, those looking to purchase more than one hand sanitizer will be charged a whopping $95 for just two bottles.

But wait, there’s more. The supermarket took to their official Facebook account to explain the reasoning behind their controversial deed.

“Dear customers, we have a great responsibility to keep the business running, and we can only do that with everyone’s help and understanding,” they stated.

The rest of their letter urged costumers to take appropriate measures upon entry to the store, including social distancing, sanitizing hands and limiting one person per family to shop at a time.

“Take care and thank you for your understanding,” they finished the letter. Safe to say, they’ve since garnered positive responses on social media, and we couldn’t agree more…
