How This 5-Year-Old Became a Makeup Pro

Thanks to the plethora of makeup gurus and influencers that have surfaced all over the internet in the past few years, thousands of girls and boys have become makeup experts. And we're not just talking about teenagers who finally got permission from their mom to shop at Sephora - we're also talking about one special 5-year-old! Little Kassie, the daughter of TikTok user and makeup artist @makeupbyshab, went viral for being better at makeup than even some adults. Fans have grown to adore the little youngster who is able to master many exemplary makeup looks. Here's what you need to know about the talented little girl.

Kassie has quickly become a pro, thanks to her young brain that is more susceptible to learning. She is even able to do a cut crease, something that is deemed quite difficult in the world of makeup. Ipsy explained the technique, "The cut crease combines a lighter shade of eyeshadow application with a line (or "cut") across the middle crease of your eyelid." How can her tiny hands do that? Or maybe the size of her fingers is what helps her be so precise with the brush and pigmented colors? "On its own, the look makes your eyes appear wider and draws more attention to the colors on your lids." How impressive! 

But honestly, we do think her mom, Shab, who herself is a whizz with a brush, taught her daughter everything she knows. That, suffice to say, is pretty genius. Who doesn't want their very own little makeup artist when you feel too lazy to do full glam? She is able to achieve a contoured look, most eyeshadow creations, and of course, apply foundation and mascara!

Thousands of fans left comments on the TikTok video that commended the youngster. "There is no way I could have done that at four, I can't do it now!" said one person, with another agreeing, "That little girl is going places!" And they weren't the only ones who shared their amazement. Even well-known makeup brands like Huda Beauty shared their excitement, "Wow she's amazing!" the brand wrote.
