From Bazaar cover shoots to countless hours on set, Pheobe Dynevor looks lights-camera-action-ready pretty much non-stop. And for good ol' non-celebs like us, we're dying to know how she keeps her skin looking fresh and paparazzi-ready. Lucky for us, the actress finally spilled her secrets on her go-to casual makeup look -and even confessed her skin struggles along the way! So let's dive in and take some notes, because she had some serious wisdom to shed.
The Bridgerton star broke down her routine from top to bottom, which came with some surprises along the way. "I actually don't wash my face in the morning," the English actress confessed. "But usually, I just splash cold water on my face and pat it dry." While unconventional compared to some other 20-step skincare gurus, we can't deny that the routine is working wonders for Pheobe! Following the quick rinse, the next go-to item was her latest "obsession," vitamin C, which provided a bright glow before the makeup came. Like most of us, it took a lot of trial and error in her teenage years to zone in on a routine that suited her unique skin type. "When I was growing up, I had mostly dry skin," she explained. "I think when I was like 14, I would use Vaseline and just put it everywhere... And then I learned a proper skincare routine."
After wrapping up skincare with an eye cream, moisturizer, quick gua sha, and sunscreen, it was on to makeup. And just like with the morning routine, Phoebe's approach to beauty products followed the mantra, "the simpler, the better." Starting with a light foundation, she followed up with a concealer, a little brow maintenance, and some eye details. And of course, what look would be complete without some bronzer? Plus, for all our freckled beauties out there, Pheobe gave her beauty mark some extra love by filling it in. "It's funny how the things that you hate when you're younger, you start to realize make you unique and individual," she gushed.
