Despite circulating rumors of a relationship with rapper Jack Harlow, TikTok star Addison Rae took to Twitter to set the record straight once and for all. "I'm single," Rae tweeted on April 19th. But why the need to clarify publicly? Well, after crossing paths with her ex-bf Bryce Hall over the weekend, fans are intrigued.
The former TikTok couple supposedly met up this past Saturday at a Triller Fight Club boxing match. The next day, Hall was apparently in the feels when he tweeted, "I'm about to explode man," and "...Telling me u love me then sneaking around w/ someone else...that...hurts."
After both young stars quickly became trending news again with their recent tweets receiving lots of attention, many fans recall the last time they took over headlines. "I was just not in the mindset for a relationship," Hall explained of their then-ended union on a podcast appearance in late March.
Per her Tweet, Rae is clearly not interested in this new drama. Instead, she's dedicated her time to self-care. After releasing her new song, "Obsessed," Addison shared some of her newfound realizations on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. She spoke about the importance of "[Loving] yourself for who you are."
In fact, Addison let fans in a bit more, saying, "It's a work in progress for me." Although Rae shared that the inspiration for her new hit track came from the split from Hall, she seems to have turned the painful experience into a productive opportunity. In fact, Rae herself began rumors of a second single releasing soon!
"The next single is coming out way sooner than people think. I can't really say exact timing, but very soon," Rae assured Fallon when she appeared on his show. Many fans quickly fell in love with the young star's first track, "Obsessed," and are eagerly awaiting her second release!
In the meantime, this dancing, singing, self-care queen, and TikTok star is focusing her energy inward. She made it clear that she's a happily single gal with a passion for doing things that feel good for her at his point in her life. Props to you, Rae!
