From TikTok to the music industry and film, one of our favorite Gen Z celebs has proved that there's nothing that she can't do. Addison Rae came ready to show the world what she's made of at this year's Met Gala.
The Upper East Side museum has seen some pretty extra looks over the Met Gala's many decades of existence, but this year saw some fresh blood and fresher fits as some of Gen Z's hottest names rocked the red carpet from the first time. But all eyes were on none other than Addison Rae. The He's All That star rocked her first Met Gala and made quite the statement in a retro look. The triple threat artist arrived at the museum's entrance in a red vintage Tom Ford & Gucci collab dress from 2003.

And according to the Obsessed artist, her dress choice was intentional and drew on some pretty impressive inspirations of female empowerment. "I wanted to pay homage to that," Addison told Vogue during her red carpet appearance. "We found exactly what kind of message we wanted to put across, and this dress was perfect for that." It was clear Rae was all about girl power at this year's event and kept the energy going as she uploaded some pictures to her Instagram story later that night.
From Marilyn Monroe, Cindy Craw, and Cameron Diaz to Britney Spears and Kate Moss, Addy had a whole collection of Hollywood starlets dressed in red to drive her point home. But her fresh new twist? Kourtney Kardashian's 21-year-old BFF also used the Met Gala red carpet as the perfect opportunity to debut her new hairstyle: a blonde shoulder-length cut. From head-to-toe, Rae came with a mature and fierce look that proved that she had just as much of a high fashion eye as the rest of the guests. And we couldn't be more proud!
She's allllll that at her first-ever #MetGala...
