After rising to fame for her unbelievable dancing on TikTok in 2020, Addison Rae is giving one lucky winner a chance at the ultimate collab! She's teaming up with the beauty platform and community, IPSY, and holding a contest that will allow one passionate dancer the opportunity to learn a dance from Addison.
Anyone over the age of 18 living in the US or Canada is eligible to apply. All you've got to do is record a video explaining why you'd like to dance with Addison, send it in, and hope for the best. With an enormous fanbase, the TikTok icon has decided to engage with some of her most loyal fans. "Thankful for every single supporter I have," Addison shared a few months ago. "I love you all so much. I'm not lucky I'm blessed!!!!"
And it seems like her fans love her just as much. Addison's collab with IPSY is one of the many projects that the dancer is currently involved in. Addison also landed a lead role in Miramax's upcoming film, He's All That. The movie's giving the 1999 classic, She's All That, a modern twist, as it has a similar plot, but with some 21st-century updates.
Rather than playing a "nerdy girl," like in the original film, Addison will be playing a popular influencer who's on a mission to turn a not-so-popular male classmate into the most handsome prom king. This all comes after her boyfriend made her the butt of a cruel, school-wide joke. "This reboot is a welcomed step towards a new generation of Miramax storytelling," said Bill Block, CEO of Miramax.
Ever since Addison rose to stardom on TikTok in 2020, she's done it all, conquering the movie industry and now the beauty industry. Something tells us she has a lot more in store for us, starting with her IPSY dance contest.
