The 33-year-old British singer usually kept her personal life out of interviews and spilled her guts through her lyrics instead, but if there's anyone who can get her to talk, it's Oprah. And that's exactly what happened. It all went down on CBS's televised special titled Adele One Night Only, which featured an intimate interview between the queen of love songs and the queen of daytime TV. And once Adele and Oprah got chatting, it didn't take long for the conversation to turn to the singer's new boo, sports agent Rich Paul.

"He's just hilarious," the Easy On Me singer confessed. "Oh, he's so funny, he's hilarious, yeah. And very smart. You know, he's very, very smart. It's quite incredible watching him do what he does." Adele went on to gush about the "easiness" of this new relationship with Paul and the "very smooth" pace at which they've taken things. But there was one key element that made this new chapter of her love life stand out from all the rest...
According to the Grammy-winning singer, this relation was the first time she can honestly say she's "loved [herself] and been open to loving and being loved by someone else." BRB, just grabbing tissues, you guys. "It's just timing," Adele explained. "But it'd be interesting to see what my reaction is like in general to anything that hurts me now that I feel so secure in myself, and I'm talking outside of romance as well."
