Hamilton fans, we've got some bad news: two of our favorite stars have officially decided to call it quits. From their breakup announcement to the viral cheating rumors that followed, here's what we know about Anthony Ramos and Jasmine Cephas Jones' split.
For those who forgot, the award-winning musical from Lin-Manuel Miranda first brought together Anthony Ramos and Jasmine Cephas Jones. The pair met while rehearsing for the Off-Broadway production in which Ramos played the roles of John Laurens and Phillip Hamilton while Jones starred as Peggy Schuyler and Maria Reynolds.

Their relationship outlasted both of their tenures in the musical - the couple got engaged in December 2018 and the In the Heights actor broke the good news on Instagram. “Thank you for saying yes to writing stories together for the rest of our lives. I'm honored and Blessed to marry you,” he wrote alongside a photo of lovebirds in Paris.
Sharing the excitement, Jones posted her own set of adorable pics. "My beloved Anthony. On Christmas Eve you got down on one knee and proposed to me in front of my favorite castle in Arundel that I used to visit all the time as a child," she gushed. "I love you beyond words and am so excited to continue this awesome journey with you."
Unfortunately, things have recently taken a turn for the worst. Roughly 3 years later, Ramos and the Emmy Award winner have decided to call it quits on their engagement. Why? For starters, according to an E! News source, the pair’s engagement ended prior to their official break-up.
But the story heated up after a recent TikTok post offered their own take on things: according to user @dearjane1, Anthony was spotted getting very handsy at a strip club this past November. As the eyewitness alleged, the actor had been "sitting onstage, tipping the dancers, and being all over" the exotic dancers. Well, what do you think? While we guess we'll have to wait and see how this one plays out, we wish both Jasmine and Anthony nothing but the best!
