It's been one heck of a wait since news first broke that Ariana Grande was officially a married woman after tying the knot with Dalton Gomez in an intimate California wedding. And our patience finally paid off: the pop icon took to Instagram with some snapshots from her special day. Safe to say, it was worth the hold-up. This dress delivered.
Ari looked timeless in her satiny low-back gown. The dress fit her like a glove, and Grande rocked the elegant strapless look to perfection. It was completed with a chest-lengthed veil perched with a bow on top. Though Ariana is no stranger to classy looks after many years on the red carpet, this one made history.
The genius behind the garments was Vera Wang. Our pop princess entrusted the fashion legend with her Audrey Hepburn-inspired vision. According to Vogue, Ariana and Vera had a history of working together. After partnering on Ari's 2018 Met Gala outfit, the two agreed that they would meet again to design Grande's wedding dress. Wang was overjoyed with the final product, writing on Instagram, "Ariana Grande, to a truly magical muse, what an incredible journey this has been for all of us at Vera Wang."
The smaller details took this look to new heights. Grande wore earrings that featured both pearl and sparkling clear jewels. No doubt a shoutout to the starlet's engagement ring, picked out by fiancé-turned-husband Dalton Gomez. And speaking of the proposal, Ariana also chose a classy french manicure for the nuptials: Similar to the style she wore when announcing her bride-to-be status back in December. Finishing off the look was a stacked pearl bracelet. And of course, it wouldn't be Ariana without a signature half-up, half-down ponytail, right? But the No Tears Left to Cry artist wasn't the only one dressed to the nines: Her hubby came to the alter on his A-game as well.
Dalton accessorized a dapper wedding day look with bracelets and a pinky ring. And while some fans were still reeling over the intimate nature of Ariana and Dalton's ceremony, attention has certainly switched to these glam looks. Now all that's missing is an album to commemorate the historic occasion. Until then, be sure to check back with us for all things Ari.
