Yesterday was practically a national holiday. Why? Because it was Beyonce's birthday, of course. Queen B rang in the big 4-0 with some never-before-seen pics and plenty of love from other Hollywood icons. Here are all of the details.
The Love on Top singer turned 40 years old on September 4th, and we got the social media posts to prove it. Bey's mom has us in our feelings with her sweet Instagram upload: a video of her daughter in an old Access Hollywood interview talking about how she would love to have kids one day, film a documentary, and other milestones - all things our Queen has done by now.

"You reached every one of your goals and then some," proud mom Tina Lawson wrote. "You deserve it baby, And every other blessing that God has bestowed upon you ... You are the most honest, intelligent and creative person I know ! That Virgo mind is always 10 steps ahead . There is not a mean bone in your body and no bitterness in your heart!!"
And Tina wasn't done there. "Even with all of your success you have managed to still be an amazing humble, caring human being! You are so loved by so many !!" she gushed. And Mrs. Lawson was (obviously) not the only one with some sweet words for the Grammy-winning mastermind. Harper's Bazaar put together a 4-minute montage of Hollywood A-listers, from Billie Eilish to Mindy Kaling, wishing Beyonce a happy birthday. Other stars took to their personal pages with tributes. "HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO THE QUEENNNN," wrote Megan Thee Stallion. "love you."
As for the Royal Highness herself? While Bee hasn't shared any peeks into the day's celebrations (hardly surprising considering the singer is notoriously private), she did bless us with a few stunning collages highlighting her career and personal achievements.
