One day after speaking out at her emotional conservatorship court hearing, Britney and her boyfriend Sam Asghari said aloha to the island of Maui. They kicked their feet up Hawaiian style at one of Spears' favorite resorts and let the drama wash away with some Vitamin D.
From the moment they got off the plane, Brit and Sam's socials were filled with snippets of happy moments in the sun. The couple then lounged by the pool with cold drinks in hand as they unwound and relaxed. From what we could see, the pair were thoroughly enjoying themselves and we just can't help but wonder if our invites got lost in the mail!
Britney even posted a video mash-up showing off her pool-side bod, their beautiful resort suite, ocean views, and of course, dancing! Based on her posts during the beginning of their trip, Brit looked like she was truly in her happy place. And, with Sam by her side, we can imagine she was on cloud nine.
As happy as the singer may have seemed to lay out with her beau, there must be many things on her mind after her latest court appearance. For the first time, Britney took charge in the courtroom and shared her true feelings about the situation she has found herself in.
"I haven't done anything in the world to deserve this treatment. It's not okay to force me to do anything I don't want to do," Britney pleaded. Though her social media is often filled with dancing videos, the day they jetted off to Hawaii, Spears posted an apology for pretending to be "Ok" in the past years...
The post may have come as a shock to some, but to others who have been following her struggle for freedom from her family, her speaking up was long overdue. From the looks of it, this Maui getaway seemed to come at just the right time for some space and sandy beaches.
Thanks to Sam and some sunshine, Spears now seems to have a different way about her. She has a bigger smile on her face, and more fun moves have been posted to her social media! If there's one thing we can count on, it's Spears dancing the days and nights away. Aloha, Britney!
