Just because they're a celeb, doesn't mean they're not any less human! In April 2022, Brooklyn Beckham tied the knot with American bombshell Nicola Peltz. Since then, it's been nothing but rumor after rumor. But recently, he spilled major tea about his initial doubts moments before Peltz was set to walk down the aisle...
Back in the Spring, football legend David Beckham and his wife Posh Spice, Victoria, watched their eldest son get hitched in Palm Beach, Florida. Brooklyn, 23, met his wife Nicola, 27, met the old-fashioned way, through a candid romance. In 2020, Beckham spotted his future wife and thankfully had his brother as his wingman, who already knew Peltz. After just a couple of months of getting to know each other, Brooklyn couldn't help but bow down on one knee to propose to his soul mate. After months of planning, designers, and caterers, the two hosted a wedding with a 600 "star-studded" guest list. That being said, Brooklyn had 1,200 eyes all on him as he put a ring on it. Though, this didn't exactly calm his brewing nerves. According to a recent sit-down with Interview magazine, he was worried Peltz might not make those first steps down the aisle.
No one knows what goes on behind closed doors or behind the veil. Brooklyn revealed, as he waited at the altar, that he wondered if Nicola was going to commit. All he wanted to see were those first two steps coming around from the corner and stepping onto the aisle, walking towards her husband-to-be. Unfortunately, his nerves got the better of him. He confessed, "I was a little bit nervous. Actually, I was very nervous... Right before, I was like, 'Oh my god, what if she doesn't walk down?!' So I was on my guard: 'I'm marrying my best friend, what if she doesn't want to? But I walked down, and as soon as she came out, I burst [sic] out crying. It was an amazing day. Marrying your best friend is the best thing you can do." Nevertheless, Peltz took the plunge and didn't give up on her British bachelor. That being said, Brooklyn reflected, "Find the person that makes you a better person and wife them up. Finding the right person changes your life and makes it 100 times better." Aww.

So, the Peltz-Beckham lived happily ever after. After all that fuss, deep down, there was no doubt in Nicola's mind she wasn't going to turn back.
