For Better or for Worse: 29+ Celebs Who Stood by Their Unfaithful Partner
| LAST UPDATE 09/14/2023
Life as a celeb isn't always easy. These famous couples faced some major heat after getting tangled up in cheating allegations. But their relationships still stood stronger, and they pushed through...
Kevin Hart & Eniko Parrish
The comedian may be all laughs, but back a few years back, Hart and his wife were going through a tough phase in their relationship. In 2017, Hart admitted to being unfaithful to his then-pregnant wife during a trip to Vegas.
In an interview with The Breakfast Club, Hart confessed, "I'm hoping that she has a heart to where she can forgive me and understand that this is not going to be a reoccurring thing and allow me to recover from my massive mistake." The two seemed to get over the hump and now have two beautiful babies together!
Tristan Thompson & Khloe Kardashian
Khloe and Tristan have had their fair share of ups and downs but have always kept things cordial for their daughter's sake. But throughout their relationship, the NBA star was unfaithful to Kardashian more than once - until things were publicly revealed just days before the April 2018 birth of their first child, True.
Khloe defended her action to stay with him on Twitter to millions of fans, explaining, "you have no knowledge of what goes on in our household or the enormous rebuilding this takes to even coexist." The two stayed together a little while longer before Thompson acted unloyal to her again, and the two officially called it quits in 2021.
Behati Prinsloo & Adam Levine
This one is real fresh. Just this summer, news broke that Adam Levine was unfaithful to his pregnant wife, after messaging an Instagram model Sumner Stroh. Although the Maroon 5 singer denied the alleged affair, he admitted to crossing the line during an "inappropriate" and "regrettable period of my [his] life."
The musician shared, "My wife and my family is all I care about in this world. To be this naive and stupid enough to risk the only thing that truly matters to me was the greatest mistake I could ever make. I will never make it again. I take full responsibility. We will get through it and we will get through it together."
Jay-Z & Beyonce
The power couple has been together for over 20 years, but a few years back, rumors spread like wildfire after Bey famously sang, "Becky with the good hair" on her album, Lemonade. The Bee Hive went into full detective mode to crack the case on who this Becky is - but nothing was ever confirmed on the identity of the mysterious lady.
A year later, Jay opened up about his infidelity on his album, 4:44, and during an interview with The New York Times Magazine. The rapper confessed to going into "survival mode." He said, "So, even with women, you gonna shut down emotionally, so you can't connect, and then all the things happen from there: infidelity."
Kylie Jenner & Travis Scott
Scott wasn't going to let any messy rumors get in the way of him and his family. YouTuber Christian Adam G accused the rapper of a wandering eye back in 2018 - but Scott quickly clapped back, writing on his Instagram story, "Trolls working hard today. I don't be on a balcony wit no thots."
After the rapper was accused of similar behavior the next year, the couple took a short break. "Kylie still loves Travis, and this isn't considered a full breakup to either of them," a source reported to Us at the time. However, the two rekindled their relationship in 2020 and welcomed their second baby together earlier this year.
Dwayne Wade & Gabrielle Union
Despite being one of the most loved couples in Hollywood, Wade and Union had a rough start. In her 2021 memoir, the actress shared, "In 2013, before we were married, Dwyane had a baby with another woman. It should go without saying that we were not in a good place in our relationship at the time that child was conceived."
Union continued, "To say I was devastated is to pick a word on a low shelf for convenience." However, they fought through and are still together. Dwayne shared more about their relationship to People, "It's about learning about each other, learning what she wants for her life and for her career, and trying to support all those things."
Robert Pattinson & Kristen Stewart
Pattinson and Stewart began dating back in 2009 after meeting on the set of their first movie together, Twilight, where they play one of the most famous movie couples of all time, Bella Swan and Edward Cullen. The pair went on to film five Twilight movies together and dated for four years before calling it quits.
Their breakup came a year after Stewart was snapped kissing her Snow White and the Huntsman director Rupert Sanders. The actress apologized, claiming it was just a "momentary indiscretion" that "has jeopardized the most important thing in my life, the person I love and respect the most, Rob. I love him, I love him, I'm so sorry."
Josh Duhamel & Fergie
Although the couple eventually split in 2017, Fergie and Josh Duhamel stayed together for years following their infamous infidelity scandal. It was just nine months after the two tied the knot when an exotic dancer, Nicole Forrester, claimed she had a one-night fling with the actor.
Duhamel denied the allegation, despite Forrester passing a lie detector test. However, Fergie later shared in an interview in 2012 more about their relationship, saying that their marriage was "stronger today definitely because of anything difficult that's happened with us."
P. Diddy & Kim Porter
Diddy is a daddy to seven children with four different baby mamas, which definitely leaves a whole lotta room for error. Although he was never married to his long-time girlfriend, Kim Porter, the two were together for over 13 years before she passed away. However, while they were together, the rapper was seeing someone else…
And that someone else? Jennifer Lopez. That's right. The rapper was messing around with J.Lo around the same time he was dating Porter and admitted to it in an Instagram comment. The two stuck it out through some pretty tumultuous times, and when it came down to it, Diddy admit, "nobody could love me [him] the way she loved me."
Vanessa & Kobe Bryant
While we all have nothing but love for the late legend, his personal life wasn't always simple. After he met the love of his life, 17-year-old Vanessa, the two tied the knot within the first year of meeting. However, the NBA star was later questioned for alleged misconduct, and Vanesa filed for divorce in 2011 before rekindling things in 2013.
Kobe later admitted it was a consensual encounter. Though, he apologized for his actions "First, let me express my sincere regrets to the girl who was engaged in this tragedy. She has endured repercussions as a result of my actions... and I want to apologize to her," he said. Clearly, the love between Kobe and Vanessa was unbreakable.
Scottie & Larsa Pippen
Another NBA love scandal! Larsa and Scottie Pippen were together for 21 years before legally divorcing; however, their problems existed long before they called it quits. According to multiple sources who reported to Us in 2016, Larsa was secretly seeing Future, and when Scottie found out, he "couldn't handle it."
The two tried to make their marriage work, but in 2018, Larsa Pippen filed for divorce. However, according to The Real Housewives of Miami star, they "remain best of friends and love each other very much" and "have so many amazing memories together."
Offset & Cardi B
On multiple occasions, the Migos member was accused of being unfaithful to Cardi B with different women, but the two are still standing strong! Back in 2017, Offset was caught in bed with another woman in videos that surfaced online, and when Cardi addressed the video, she tweeted, "this s*** happens to everyone."
Regardless of the drama, the couple made their relationship legal and welcomed their first child together around the same time. However, Cardi took to Instagram in 2018 to inform her fans they split up after Offset allegedly messed up again - but the separation didn't last all too long, and the couple reconciled a few months later.
Snoop Dogg & Shante Broadus
Snoop Dogg may have been married for over twenty years, but there was a time when the iconic rapper found himself in a sticky situation after he was caught red-handed. According to Instagram influencer Celina Powell, she and Snoop had an affair-and she had the receipts to prove it.
Although the two separated in 2004 and got back together a few years later, the Sexual Eruption singer admitted to Rolling Stone flat out, "I cheated on her." He continued, "That's the worst thing you could possibly do - lose somebody's trust who really loves you."
Lamar Odom & Khloe Kardashian
Poor Khloe. Before the reality star dated Tristan Thompson, she was married to former NBA star Lamar Odom for four years before they split and eventually divorced a few years later. Lamar confirmed he was unfaithful to Khloe in an interview with Us Weekly a year after their divorce was finalized.
"If there is one thing I regret when I was married, it was having multiple affairs with different women. That wasn't the stand-up thing to do," he later admitted. Khloe stood by his side despite the initial rumors and substance abuse Odom was facing to take care of him, and it seems he has since tried to make amends.
Ozzy & Sharon Osbourne
Talk about being in it for the long haul! Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne have been married for 40 years, but there were times when Ozzy's out-of-marital affairs almost cost them their marriage. Sharon revealed to The Telegraph that her husband "had women in different countries" and "there wasn't just one; there were six of them."
The rockstar eventually went to rehab for his hypersexual behavior, and the couple renewed their vows when he was released. "I made a huge mistake," Ozzy told Hello! Magazine, "Without Sharon I am nothing. I love her. I can honestly say that I have never loved anybody other than my wife."
Tashera Simmons & DMX
The late rapper didn't hold back when it came to regrets about his wife of fourteen years, Tashera Simmons. The couple had four children together, but that didn't stop him from openly sharing his mistakes. "I cheated on her, but it wasn't anything new. I was the same way the whole time she knew me," he shared in an interview.
Although Simmons was aware of his infidelity, she admitted to Bossip that she was still in "awe about the things that I found out after" his death. "About people that I was so close with, people in the industry that I couldn't believe was sleeping with him," she admitted. However, she wants to just "be happy now" and find peace.
Lorena "Lola" Cartagena & Fat Joe
Fat Joe and his wife Lola are still going strong, despite the rapper making it real clear that he was not a faithful husband. An inside source told Bossip the Lean Back singer was unloyal to his lady and flying out his mistress across the country to spend time with her - and he was less than discreet about it.
The two were even spotted attending a Knicks game together. According to The YBF, Lola found photos of the mystery woman on his phone, who is apparently "a 26-year-old woman from Dubai." Despite the infidelity, Lola and the rapper are still going strong, celebrating over 25 years of love!
Natalie Portman
Oh no, say it ain't so! Rumor has it that Natalie Portman's marriage to her husband Benjamin Millepied isn't all sunshine and rainbows anymore. Apparently, Millepied recently had a little fling on the side - yikes! However, sources close to the couple have revealed that they're still together and working through their issues.
But this isn't the end of the road for our favorite Black Swan lovebirds. Despite Millepied's "enormous mistake," sources say the couple is still together and working on things behind the scenes. Meanwhile, Portman is focused on protecting her family and keeping their private life out of the spotlight.
A$AP Rocky & Rihanna
Well, this one is complicated. Just a few months ago, Kanye West accused A$AP of being unloyal to Rihanna with fashion designer Yoon Ahn. West went so far as to share the information on his Instagram account in a now-deleted post. Unfortunately, this wasn't the first time A$AP was accused of being unfaithful to his baby mama...
Earlier this year, rumors spread like wildfire that the fashion killa was also involved with shoe designer Amina Muaddi, who worked for Rihanna's brand Fenty, per TMZ. However, the gossip was quickly shut down when a close friend confirmed it was "1 million percent not true." Whatever the case may be, we're rooting for these two.
Claudinette & Wyclef Jean
He might have tried to run for president in Haiti, but Wyclef Jean was more of a one-woman guy than one nation for all kind of guy. The singer openly admitted to being unfaithful to his wife with his Fugees bandmate Lauryn Hill and actually blamed her for the whole affair.
Wyclef confessed to his adultery through his lyrics, and it turns out he wasn't just unloyal to his wife but also to multiple other women. On the track Cheated (To All the Girls), he sang, "To all the girls I cheated on before, it's a new year/ I got a new change of gear, I swear," as he promised to change his ways.
David Boreanaz & Jaime Bergman
After almost a decade of marriage, the Bones actor admitted to being unloyal to his wife after his mistress threatened to take their private relationship all the way to the public. During an interview with People, Boreanaz admitted, "our marriage has been tainted with my infidelities."
The actor shared that they were determined to work "on repairing what has been damaged so badly," and in doing so, just came out a stronger couple. "It took a crisis, it took infidelity to get us off our a**** and work for what we want. We do the best we can. That's all we can do," Jaime told People.
Amber Rose & Wiz Khalifa
The rapper might have taken his own lyrics, "young, wild, and free," a little too seriously when it came down to his marriage with Amber Rose. The couple was married when Wiz was apparently caught "with two women" at the same time, according to Peter Rosenberg, a DJ and friend of Rose.
The couple stuck it out for a bit before calling it quits after three years of marriage. An insider claimed to TMZ that Khalifa lied for years about why Rose shouldn't join him on tour, and when the model eventually found out, she labeled her ex a "serial cheater."
Kelis & Nas
Probably one of the most iconic hip-hop couples of all time, Nas and Kelis were together for nine years before ending their relationship. The Get Down rapper revealed to VH1 he was unfaithful to Kelis, and in retrospect, "the biggest lesson I [he] learned is respect, trust, no infidelity," and that he "wouldn't do that again."
Kelis shared with Hollywood Unlocked, "He had been cheating for two years, and I knew that," but there was a whole long list of problems the couple was enduring. However, they called it quits because "on top of all the other stuff," it was just "too much" to handle.
Laura Louie & Woody Harrelson
Let's go back to 1987 when Laura was hired as Woody's assistant. Harrelson had just gotten out of a two-year marriage, and it took both parties a few years to admit their feelings for each other. The two tied the knot in 2008, but their relationship faced some pretty rocky moments in 2002 when Woody was unfaithful with multiple women.
One of these women worked as a paparazzi and sold the story to the media, but Laura stood by his side through it all. According to the actor, after apologizing endlessly, he turned to the "standard Texan grovel," and she eventually forgave him - and they're still standing strong all these years later!
Nicole Young & Dr. Dre
Dr. Dre may be one of the most brilliant minds in the industry, but when it comes down to his personal affairs, it didn't play out too similarly. As reported by the Daily Mail, Dre was reportedly unloyal to Nicole Young three times and never denied his actions.
Young, on the other hand, was heartbroken by his actions. "I'm sure I don't have to tell you the incredible amount of hurt and pain I am in knowing you are not faithful," she wrote in a letter per the Daily Mail. Still, the two remained together until just last year before finalizing their divorce after over two decades of marriage.
Chrisean Rock & Blueface
Talk about complicated. Rapper Blueface and his on-and-off girlfriend, Chrisean Rock, seem to pass the ultimate test of time with their relationship. The two met on the rappers' reality show Blue Girl's Club back in 2020, and since then, the two have been in quite the "situationship."
Despite Chrisean allegedly breaking into his home, taking his G-Wagon, damaging his property, and Blueface being unloyal with multiple women and apparently getting physical, they just can't keep their hands off each other. The pair even nabbed their own reality show, Crazy in Love, on The Zeus Network.
Tori Spelling & Dean McDermott
Tori Spelling met her future hubby to be on the set of the TV movie Mind Over Murder in 2005 when Spelling was already married to Charlie Shanian, and McDermott was married to Mary Jo Eustace. It didn't take long for the pair to ditch their partners and find love in a hopeless place when they wed each other in '06.
However, things got messy when it was revealed that Dean wasn't being all too faithful towards Tori. During an episode of their show, True Tori, McDermott admitted, "I feel shame" over the adultery. However, the actress stayed by his side, the whole time well aware that "if it doesn't work out, it doesn't work out, but we're going to try."
Tomeka Thiam & Akon
Akon is legally married to Tomeka Thiam, but the Smack That singer has openly admitted that he practices polygamy, and according to SK Pop, even has four wives. So, although he hasn't remained faithful to one wife, he also hasn't been too sly in keeping them on the DL.
In an interview with Larry King, Akon revealed his wife "loves me for who I am" when it comes down to being against monogamy; however, he wouldn't feel the same about Thiam. "A woman don't just wake up one day and say, 'Okay, I'm gonna sleep with that guy.' But a guy do wake up one day and say, 'I'm gonna sleep with that woman.'"
Tameka "Tiny" Cottle & T.I.
Not only was T.I. unloyal to his wife, Tiny, but he was caught red-handed on camera - and it wasn't even the first time. In 2018, a video circulated the web of the musician getting up close and personal with Asia'h Epperson at a concert, to which the actress later told Celebrity Insider she did not give her consent to T.I.
So when the video of him made it to social media, the rapper suggested, "the video ain't really the issue." He said on The Family Hustle, "The video being posted up on social media is the issue. If someone had sent her that video privately, she and I would've had one conversation about it, and it would've been over."
Hank Baskett & Kendra Wilkinson
Headlines took over the media in 2014 when rumors flooded the Internet that Hank Baskett had an affair with a transgender model while his wife, Kendra Wilkinson, was pregnant. "I messed up," Baskett told People. "I put myself in a bad situation. And everything through me brought pain upon this family."
"I didn't engage in anything," the former athlete admitted, but the humiliation and the headlines overtook his relationship with his wife. Wilkinson didn't believe the rumors, and instead of caring about "the act," she said, "I can say he was not loyal to me." However, the two stuck together until 2018 before separating.
Jessica Biel & Justin Timberlake
Justin Timberlake might be a triple threat, but let's take it back a few years ago to when rumors swirled through Hollywood about him being unloyal to Biel with his Palmer co-star, Alisha Wainwright. After the two were snapped holding hands and cozying up, all chaos ensued.
"A few weeks ago I displayed a strong lapse in judgment," Justin eventually came clean. "But let me be clear - nothing happened between me and my costar. I drank way too much... and I regret my behavior. I should have known better." While we'll never know what truly went down, we're happy to see the couple have worked through the drama.
