Lord, have mercy because soon we'll be getting Chloe Bailey's debut album, and we just don't know if the world is ready. The singer recently sat down with BuzzFeed to talk about all things music and sisterhood. And yes, things got as sweet as you'd imagine when she spoke of Halle. Here are all of the details.
First of all, there's plenty of reason to get pumped for the grown-ish star's first solo record. "Confidence, rich b****, and vulnerable," Chloe said when asked to describe the album in just three words. Talk about boss moves. But if you're expecting more things along the lines of Have Mercy, then don't hold your breath because Bailey is bringing us a different kind of spice with the rest of the tracks.

"It's definitely different from what you've heard; it's more pop," the 23-year-old revealed. "And, you know, it's definitely a bit more different than Have Mercy. Have Mercy was just the first little thing people hear from me, so I can't wait for them to hear what's next." Girl, neither can we.
Chloe might be a total icon, but even she has bad days. But some of those feelings and inspiration from being "sad in the middle of the night" are what made the recording process for her still-unnamed album all the more genuine. "Music has saved my life," Bailey shared. "It's everything. It's a sense of therapy for me."
"My favorite thing about performing is that I feel completely free in myself," she continued. "And I don't have to worry about anything at all except just doing my best on the stage. It's the most liberating feeling in the entire world, and I wouldn't trade it for anything." Chloe also opened up about what it's been like working on her own after years of performing side-by-side with her sister Halle.
Chloe's been working on solo music while Halle's been busy starring in The Little Mermaid (no big deal). "It's been the coolest thing," the older sis said about becoming more independent. "I love it because we're both so strong together as a group, and also individually, and I'm just so proud of her and all the solar endeavors that she's been going on. And I feel the same love and support from her."
