Emma Watson just took to the Gram to share with fans what exactly she's been doing throughout the pandemic. Spoiler alert: it involves way more than baking sourdough bread. In fact, it looks like the Harry Potter starlet might be considering a career change altogether.
The 31-year-old has been largely absent from the film scene in London and Hollywood over the last year, spurring fans of early retirement from acting. But Emma cast a vanishing spell on those clickbait headlines and assured fans that she's not leaving the movie industry anytime soon.
"Dear Fans, Rumours about whether I'm engaged or not, or whether my career is "dormant or not" are ways to create clicks each time they are revealed to be true or untrue," Watson wrote on Twitter. She added, "If I have news - I promise I'll share it with you." And then the award-winning actress assured us that she might be a celeb, but she's also just like us.
I am sending so much love to you, hoping you’re ok and as well and happy as you can be in these strange times. And again, thank you to everyone working so hard to keep us safe and well.

Emma tweeted, "In the meantime please assume no news from me just means I'm quietly spending the pandemic the way most people are - failing to make sourdough bread (!), caring for my loved ones and doing my best not to spread a virus that is still affecting so many people."
But in her latest post, Watson revealed her pandemic plans had involved way more than baking bread. Emma's filmography is extensive, from The Bling Ring to Little Women, but she soon might be adding another title to her resume: filmmaker. Watson revealed that she's been learning how to work from the other side of the camera - and it's been amazing.
"Getting behind the camera and learning how it works is about the most empowering thing I've learned in lockdown," she gushed. "As a young woman, I always thought the most glamorous and exciting thing would be to be someone's "muse"; and of course as women we are inspiring... but wow it's something else to be able to tell your own story and other people's."
We can't wait to see what Emma's been working on!
