After an ambush and dog-burglary on Lady Gaga's dog walker, Ryan Fischer, there is finally some good news to report. Less than a week after he was hospitalized for a gunshot wound, Fischer broke his silence about his "Very close call with death." Luckily, he's on the mend, and the pups are finally home safe.

After two of her dogs were stolen in Hollywood, Gaga took to Instagram. In an emotional post, she prayed for her family to be whole again and offered $500,000 for Gustav and Koji's safe return. She made a special mention of Ryan, saying, "You risked your life to fight for our family. You're forever a hero."

While Hollywood went into a dog-searching frenzy, Fischer was rushed to the hospital for emergency care. He recalled clutching Gaga's third pooch, Asia, during the attack. Thankfully, the brave caretaker made it to the hospital in the nick of time. From his hospital bed, Ryan shared an emotional post about his experience.

"I am still in recovery from a very close call with death," Fischer said. "I am humbled and grateful that attention and focus from the police were enough to get Koji and Gustav back to safety. I know they are committed to bringing these criminals and attempted murderers to justice," he continued.

With more than a full recovery, Ryan is optimistic. "A lot of healing still needs to happen, but I look forward to the future and the moment when I get bombarded with kisses and licks (and excitement pee?) from Asia, Koji, and Gustav," shared the devoted dog walker.

After being stolen on February 24th, the French bulldogs were safely returned by a community member. In a statement, the LAPD shared, "The woman found the dogs and reached out to Lady Gaga's staff to return them. The woman's identity and the location the dogs were found will remain confidential…for her safety."

With Gaga's canines safe at home, Fischer continues to heal in the hospital while updating his dog-walking Instagram. To his friend Gaga, Ryan said, "Your babies are back and the family is whole. We did it! You have shown so much support throughout this whole crisis...But your support as a friend…was unwavering. I love you."
