We know - it's a lot to process. But where did it all go wrong? In case you forgot, the rumors first sparked when TMZ opened the lid on an apparent feud between Zayn and Gigi's mom, Yolanda. As they reported, Yolanda had claimed Malik had struck her at their home and was even considering filing a police report. (Yes, really.)
Well, folks, a whole lot has changed since then: according to recent court documents obtained by TMZ, Yolanda has officially taken her dispute public by filing a report. As her statement alleged, the two were at #Zigi's Pennsylvania home on September 29 when an explosive argument ensued: not only did Zayn allegedly hurl expletives at Hadid, but apparently he proceeded to "shove her into a dresser, causing mental anguish and physical pain."
While Malik has since maintained his innocence, he's officially been charged with 4 criminal offenses - including 1 harassment charge from Gigi. (Apparently he became aggressive with her after the incident.) Clearly there's still lots of tea to be spilled here, and we wish this family (including baby Khai, of course) nothing but the best.
