OG Gossip Girl fans, this one is for you. If you're anything like us, any semblance of a Gossip Girl reunion gives us all the feels. So when Aaron Schwartz, a.k.a. Vanya, took to his Instagram to post a mini-reunion picture of some of the cast from the 2007 series, the Internet went wild (and so did we)...
The reunion happened this past week at the Ep-ix & Chill Convention at the Omar Shrine Temple in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, where some of our favorite teen drama stars got together to give us ultimate nostalgia. Cast members from shows like Gilmore Girls, Friday Night Lights, One Tree Hill, Pretty Little Liars, Twilight, and the O.C. joined the cast of Gossip Girl for the reunion of the century. Our teenage self is quite literally jumping for joy seeing Luke from Gilmore Girls standing next to Dorota! And we just don't know what to do with this information.
Anyways, back to Gossip Girl. Aaron Schwartz uploaded a series of photos with fellow OG Gossip Girl cast members Zuzanna Szadkowski (Dorota), Chace Crawford (Nate), Jessica Szohr (Vanessa), and Ed Westwick (Chuck). We can see the cast with big smiling faces, obviously enjoying each other's company! Szadkowski posted the same reunion picture to her Instagram with the caption "briefly #reunited." Fans obviously filled the comments sections with explosions of hearts and smiley faces, gladly accepting the reunion and only hoping for more in the future. Even Caroline Lagerfelt, who played CeCe Rhodes on the show, dropped a comment on Szadkowski's post, writing, "Jelly!!!!!! Next time Atlanta, so I can be there:):);)." Although this is just a small part of the original cast, we'll take what we can get!

Last summer, HBO Max brought us a Gossip Girl reboot, bringing together Manhattan's elite once again, all in search of the mysterious gossip girl. Although the reboot does not include the entire original cast, we luckily saw a few cameos from Nelly Yuki (Yin Chang), Georgina Sparks (Michelle Trachtenberg), and Szadkowski, who told E! she "missed Dorota a lot" and "jumped" at the chance to reprise her role in the series. Anyways, we'll be watching re-runs of Gossip Girl until season two of the reboot drops!
