On July 3, 2021, after more than 5 years together, the Voice co-stars finally found their way down the aisle. "Dreams do come true!" Gwen Stefani gushed on Instagram of the big day. From her Vera Wang gown to the quaint Oklahoma wedding chapel, their nuptials were literally what dreams are made of.
But perhaps the only thing their dreamy affair didn't have? A special somebody - Adam Levine. According to reports, their Voice co-star wasn't one of the 40 members in attendance that day. And suddenly we've got lots of questions. After all, hadn't Blake requested he perform at the wedding?
While perhaps we'll never know what really went down between the Maroon 5 hitmaker and the A-list couple, we do know this: Gwen and Blake's wedding was a long time in the making. In case you forgot about their October 2020 engagement (and the massive engagement ring it called for), the happy couple actually had plans to tie the knot months ago...
Unfortunately, fate had other plans. "I really would rather it not be a COVID situation," Stefani confessed last year of their decision to postpone the wedding due to the pandemic. "I would rather not have masks and that kind of thing — and even when you cut it down to just family, it's still too many people."
Well, from the looks of Gwen's wedding album, we'd say it was certainly worth the wait (even if we didn't get to catch a special Maid of Honor). "It feels so weird. People have been saying it for so long, like five years, 'Are you getting married?'... And now we actually are, and it feels like I'm in a cartoon," Stefani gushed of her latest chapter. No doubt, we couldn't be happier for the lovebirds, and we can't wait to see what comes next!
