Unless you've been living under a rock, chances are you've heard about the latest drama surrounding the Spears family. But this time, it has less to do with Britney and more to do with Jamie Lynn's new memoir. As it turns out, an old co-star from Jamie's past has a big issue with how things were portrayed in her book. Keep scrolling.
As former Zoey 101 actress Alexa Nikolas alleged, Spears was mistaken in her memoir Things I Should Have Said. "I was pretty surprised to see her lying up a storm in there," the begrudged star shaded. Nikolas also described the recent contact she's had with Spears following their years of silence. While she initially didn't think much of it, she now questions Jamie Lynn's recent apology and gift offering. Fast forward to the release of Spears's book, and Alexa has a major bone to pick. "Typical move for a bully to play the victim card/gaslight others while straight-up lying," she vented on Instagram. "She never addressed anything that she mentioned in the book to me personally because she knows everything she is saying is a total lie, and I would have called her out on that," Nikolas continued. "It's sad to see someone not change after all these years."
While perhaps we'll never know the true story here, there was some serious drama on the Nickelodeon set back in the early 2000s. During the time that Alexa starred in the first two seasons, it seemed as though tensions were sky-high. As Jamie Lynn claimed, the issues stemmed from rumors that Nikolas reportedly started, calling Spears "mean and b*tchy" and having bad body odor. But if you ask Alexa, those rumors were far from the truth - and bringing it up was all part of Spears' bid for attention after her "fame had waned." Yikes! But that's not all: the now 29-year-old actress continued to call out Jamie Lynn to her online followers...
