Unless you've been living under a rock for the past couple of months, chances are that you've caught one of the many headlines circulating around the internet about Kanye West's new bae, Julia Fox. From relationship theories to drama with the exes, these two lovebirds haven't exactly enjoyed their relationship on the DL - and a lot of the heat is landing on Julia Fox. Recently, the actress has been shaded in headlines for trying to imitate Kim's style. But Fox wasn't about to let critics get the last word...
The Uncut Gems star grabbed the mic back and shared her side of the story on a recent sit-down with Call Her Daddy's Alexandra Cooper. During the tea-filled podcast episode, Julia specifically shut down the haters that were claiming that she was trying to emulate Kanye's ex's style in recent public appearances (you know what we're talking about - Black Swan eyeliner, anyone?). "We've worn similar looks," the 32-year-old actress confessed. But in Julia's eyes, it wasn't as deep as people were making it out to be. "I thought it was cool that she had worn it. It is unfortunate because women are always being pitted against each other."
As Julia put it, the similarities were simply a result of Ye, as both she and Kim were heavily influenced by his artistic vision. And like most things in Hollywood, the narrative was getting spun out of proportion to fuel the gossip storm surrounding her new relationship. Speaking of relationship, Fox also used her interview to confirm that she and Kanye have dropped the boyfriend-girlfriend label but are still keeping things casual rather than "planning for the future."
