Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel welcomed their second child into the world back in July, but they just revealed that one of the first people they told was Ellen DeGeneres. And to make matters even more exciting, the news came as a total surprise, as the couple had kept this information private during the entire pregnancy.
During a virtual appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Timberlake and Biel broke the news about their adorable son, Phineas. "He's so awesome and so cute," Timberlake shared. "Nobody's sleeping. But we're thrilled and couldn't be happier. Very grateful." DeGeneres was one of the few people outside of their family to know that Biel was even pregnant.
"I think we were Facetiming and you said, 'Hey, you want to know a secret?'" Ellen shared. "And then Jessica walked in and you put your hand on her stomach. You were like, 'I'm having another baby!'" Timberlake also spoke about the difference between having two kids versus just one. "We don't see each other anymore," he joked. "It's a lot of fun. I guess the saying goes from a zone defense to a man-to-man really quickly."
Justin and Jessica's older son, Silas, is five-years-old, and from the sound of it, he's loving his big brother duties so far. "Right now he's very much liking it," Timberlake said. "Phin can't walk yet or chase him down, so we'll see what happens."
Back in April of 2018, Biel told Entertainment Tonight about her hopes of having more children someday. "Kids are amazing. They are really hard, but they are really amazing," she explained. "I think it would be amazing to have a bigger family." And just as she'd dreamed, Biel is now a mother to two beautiful children, after finally breaking the news on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. We can't wait to see what else this family has in store for the future!
