Khloé Kardashian has decided it's time to speak up about her leaked image in a bikini posted online earlier this week. The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star took to Instagram and uploaded several pictures of her unedited figure. In the post, she also opened up about learning to love herself and the hard time she had learning to do so.
The 36-year-old included a topless clip, along with screenshots and a video from an Instagram Live she had recorded on the same day, which revealed her whole waist. Khloé captioned the post, "Yes I did a live to show you all this isn't photoshopped," but her big message was found along with the pictures.
In the message, the star wrote, "Hey guys, this is me and my body unretouched and unfiltered. As someone who has struggled with body image her whole life, when someone takes a photo of you that isn't flattering in bad lighting or doesn't capture your body the way it is after working so hard to get it to this point – and then shares it to the world - you should have every right to ask for it to not be shared."
After the heartfelt message, the mother-of-one listed comments she said were hurtful and "unkind" to her. Things like: "Khloé is the fat sister." Or, "Her dad must not be her real dad because she looks so different." And so on. She then expressed just how much all of the hateful remarks affected her, writing, "you never quite get used to being judged and pulled apart and told how unattractive one is, but I will say if you hear anything enough, then you will start to believe it."
Khloé ended up receiving wide support for her courageous post from her fans and other celebrities alike. Kendall Jenner showed her sisterly love commenting, "YESSSS." And Ariana Grande, whose song was heard in the background of Khloé's video, also showed her love writing "love u & your heart." This strong message of body positivity comes just in time to mentally prepare us for the final episode of our last beloved series.
