Kim Kardashian is officially a single lady! Well, just legally. On March 2, Kim was informed that her request to become legally single from Kanye West after their six-year marriage had been granted. After filing her request for this status change in December 2021, Kim is likely ecstatic to put this chapter behind her. And what better way to do this than making it Instagram official? Just twenty-four hours after receiving the news, Kim dropped the West from her username and returned to her maiden name Kim Kardashian. With this simple change, she's showing the world and Kanye that she has moved on.
Although Kim may be legally single, she's certainly not curled up in bed feeling sorry for herself like the majority of us after a breakup. Instead, she's walking the streets of Los Angeles with her Hollywood heartthrob boyfriend Pete Davidson on her arm, and she's never looked happier! Kim may have dropped the West from her Instagram username, but her KKW Fragrance and beauty lines still contain her previous initials with the rapper's last name. Will the star go as far as to rename the brands to remove any reference to her ex-husband?
