Unless you've been living under a rock, chances are that you've heard about Travis Barker's serious hospitalization that occurred last week. It has certainly taken the newlyweds for a spin as they saw their lives turned upside down by this scary episode - but lucky for us, Kourtney's found the time to reach out to her fans with a need-to-know update.
The worried wifey hit up her Instagram stories to share the word with her 187 million followers, writing, "Oh what a scary and emotional week it has been. Our health is everything and sometimes we take for granted how quickly it can change. Travis and I went in for a routine endoscopy together and he ended up with severe, life-threatening pancreatitis." Yikes! From kind words and prayers from fans to the medical staff at the hospital where Travis was admitted, Kourtney had no shortage of thanks to give for all the care she received during the difficult time. "I am so touched and appreciative," the 43-year-old wrote. "It's crazy how sometimes words could never truly express the gratitude or feelings I have inside of me." And with her man's health on the mend, Kourt directed her attention to a clap back at one industry in particular...
"And to the paparazzi who sold pictures of me "out and about" while my husband was in the hospital fighting for his life... these were photos actually taken weeks ago," Kourtney vented. "I didn't forget about you. A new level of low, monetizing off of our nightmare. Really savagely uncool when I actually didn't leave his side." It's safe to say that Mrs. Barker was left quite upset by the tabloid rumors, finishing off her paparazzi rant with a "shame on you" - and TBH, we can't blame her!
