Kourtney Kardashian Finally Explains her Unique Friendship With Addison Rae

While the Kardashian family has tried to figure out Kourt's friendship with TikTok star Addison Rae, the mom of 3 doesn't get what the fuss is all about! On April 8th, a KUWTK episode finally spilled the tea. But, when the family took it upon themselves to invite Rae for lunch, Kourtney was nowhere to be seen.
As it turns out, the Kardashians wanted to get to know Addison without the Poosh creator present. But, Rae didn't get the memo until she was sitting at the table. "She thought I was literally coming to the lunch…What is your obsession?" Kourt asked her family after the interrogation-filled meal.
The family has noticed that Kourtney has been in a much better mood since hanging out with the young star. Khloé asked her sister, "Does Addison do something where she pulls out a better attitude in you?" This must have struck a chord with Kourt because she finally let her fam in on the reason their friendship works.
As Kourtney explained, she and Addison's "Energies align." When Khloé asked, "So, you have kid-like energy?" The eldest sister replied, "I feel like I have a young heart and an old soul." Kourtney then explained she feels the family has a great circle of people around them, just made up of a range of ages.
The 41-year-old declared, "I don't think every person needs to understand my relationships with each of my friends." Even though Addison is 21 years younger than the reality TV star, they've become close on levels they don't know how to explain. They've even created a secret handshake!
As seen on KUWTK, there have been moments of awkwardness with the family while BFFs Addison Rae and Kourtney share uncontrollable laughter. But, the family seems to be happy for the friendship, even if that means some uncomfortable silence here and there.
Seeing how much laughter Rae is able to pull out of Kourtney is something the rest of the Kardashian family has enjoyed witnessing. "I actually really enjoy getting to know Addison, Khloé shared. "The more I get to know her, the more I understand why Kourt is such good friends with her," she admitted.
