Liam Payne was recently the guest star on Logan Pauls's podcast, Impaulsive. And let's just say the former band boy member did not hold back. During the interview, the 28-year-old singer admitted that he doesn't like former One Direction member Zayn Malik - but that's not all he said. Here's what you missed.
Back in 2020, Logan's brother Jake got into some beef online with Malik, which prompted Malik's then-girlfriend Gigi Hadid to step in and say something. The whole incident was brought up during the recent podcast. The Paul brothers were unhappy with how Malik treated them, which had led to Hadid tweeting, "Unbothered by your irrelevant ugly ***. Go to bed." But fast forward to today, and it seems this saga is far from over.
Payne revealed to Paul his thoughts on the drama. "She tweeted something about get yourself a respectful man or something. That one didn't age very well," he shaded on the podcast, referring to the following incident where Malik was accused of being violent with Hadid's mom Yolanda. The rest of the people in the room were in shock at what Payne had just said - but they had no idea how much crazier it would get.

"There's many reasons why I dislike Zayn and there's many reasons why I'll always, always be on his side," he told Logan. "If I had had to go through what he went through — with his growth and whatever else… My parents are overly supportive to the point where it's annoying at times. Zayn had a different upbringing in that sense." Despite his former co-worker's behavior, he will always understand where Malik comes from. "You can always look at the man for where he is and say, 'Oh yeah, whatever, that guy's a d—.' But at the end of the day, once you're understanding what he's been through to get to that point — and also whether or not he wanted to be there." We guess going through such a major part of life together bonded these two artists. Yet still, it seems like we probably won't be getting a One Direction reunion any time soon...
