Ever since Outer Banks stars Madelyn Cline and Chase Stokes announced that their onscreen romance had become a real-life love story, we've loved watching their relationship progress. And this week, the actors celebrated their one-year anniversary, each sharing a heartfelt post on Instagram expressing their love for one another.
Before they began filming season two, the couple revealed that Outer Banks' John B. and Sarah simply couldn't resist each other even when the cameras stopped rolling, and fans couldn't contain their excitement. Stokes shared that part of what makes their relationship so special is the way it developed. "The beautiful thing for us is that our relationship was established as friends and coworkers prior to what we have now," Chase explained. "The biggest difference now is I get to be even more proud of her as my partner when I watch her work. I'm in the background, kind of like a stage mom, watching her absolutely crush it and going, 'That was awesome!'"
Stokes said that working together while dating has been an incredible experience and has positively impacted their relationship. "It's been a lot of fun to drive together to work, come home and throw ideas off of each other about different scenes, collaborating, watching her get excited about her work and be her cheerleader," Stokes shared. The lovebirds have also grown incredibly close with the entire cast and crew while filming both the first and second seasons.
This past week, Chase revealed that they finished filming the second season, and it will be available on Netflix later this year. "What a labor of love this season has been," he wrote on Instagram. "This is more than just a tv show. This has become a big 'ole family. Thank you for on the most difficult days to make us all smile, and on the best days to laugh and joke with us. It's bittersweet, but I'm very, very proud of this season."
So, stay tuned for a whole new season of John B. and Sarah's adventures through the rough waters of Outer Banks, as these lovebirds have a lot more in store for the future.
