We had another Kardashian celebration! Only this time round, it was an extra special occasion. Not only has Mason Disick turned 13, but as a right of passage, he welcomed his teenage years the Scott Disick way. Mason was surrounded by family and friends, while the celebration brought together his co-parents.
The first Kardashian grandson has just celebrated his Bar Mitzvah! We don't know where the time has gone, but time has flown by. According to People, close relatives and friends gathered on Saturday for Mason's private Bar Mitzvah ceremony, followed by a private dinner and reception at a Sunset Strip nightclub in West Hollywood. Now, what's a coming-of-age ritual without an after-party? Mason and his friends headed over to the dancefloor once the obligations were complete, surrounded by silver decorations and a Chrome hearts-inspired logo, bespoke for Mason with a Star of David incorporated into the design. Not only was this a special day for the mini Disick, but more so for the lord Disick himself. While Scott grew up with two Jewish parents, he too celebrated this momentous and traditional occasion. He was touched watching his son be able to experience the same.
There were a few elements that made this day extra special for Mason. While Kourtney and Scott were able to reunite for their firstborn, siblings Reign and Penelope had a blast while Reign was lifted up on the chair, a dancing ritual known commonly in the Jewish Religion. As well, auntie Kiki arrived with North and Saint, along with auntie Koko, Kendall, and Kylie. Despite Travis Barker, Mason's step-father, not making an appearance, his daughter Atiana De La Hoya merged herself in with the celebrations. Prior to his Bar Mitzvah bash, family members dedicated posts on Instagram. Kim's tribute wrote, "The day has come where you're taller than me now, I just love who you are, and I'm just so proud of you, Mason. Welcome to your teenage years. Happy birthday." Proud mom Kourtney couldn't hold back from gushing over the fact her sons share the same birthday, writing the caption on a throwback post, "December 14th… one of the best days of my life, twice and forever. My birthday boys." Thankfully, auntie Koko gave us a glimpse into the party as she attempted to capture moments with her wild nieces! There truly was not a better place to bring the entire family together.
