Megan Fox stopped by Jimmy Kimmel Live in celebration of her recent film, but the convo quickly turned to focus on her passionate relationship with Machine Gun Kelly. And Megan had a seriously intense story to share about their recent Costa Rica trip.
Megan laid it all on the table when speaking with guest host Arsenio Hall. She started from the very beginning, about how she and her boyfriend (who she refers to by his first name, Colson) traveled to the remote jungle of Costa Rica and drank a psychedelic tea called ayahuasca. Fox went on to explain that it was the farthest thing from a "five-star experience," and required them to drink outrageous amounts of lemongrass tea. "Until you, not of your own volition, just vomit everything out of your body," the Jennifer's Body star recalled. And once they were fully cleaned out, the real journey began.
Safe to say that Megan had her host's attention. She carried on to talk about her hallucinogenic experience, which she described as incredibly intense. "The second night, I went to hell for eternity. And just knowing eternity is torture in itself because there was no beginning, middle, or end," the 35-year-old explained. "You have a real ego death." Sounds intense, right? Well, despite the sickness and "psychological hell" she experienced, Megan claimed that the whole thing was equal, if not better, to regular forms of therapy.
"It just goes straight into your soul and takes you into your psychological prison you hold yourself in," Fox explained. "It's your own version of hell. And I was definitely there." Arsenio Hall was pretty gripped by the whole story and had tons of questions to ask along the way. But Megan was beyond happy to share. In fact, the Till Death actress openly encouraged people to experience it for themselves. It seemed as though the ayahuasca trip really opened her eyes and allowed her to tap into her psyche on a deeper level.
