| LAST UPDATE 10/17/2021
Sound the Royal alarms (and tell Chrissy Teigen her big plans will have to wait)! It's official: Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have welcomed their second child, a baby girl, and her name made us well up with happy tears. The lovely moniker pays tribute to both Queen Elizabeth II and the late Princess Diana. Here are all of the details.
On Sunday, June 6th, a spokesperson for the couple announced, "It is with great joy that Prince Harry and Meghan, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, welcome their daughter, Lilibet "Lili" Diana Mountbatten-Windsor, to the world." Archie's little sister was born at California's Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital on June 4th at 11:40 am.

The statement went on, "Both mother and child are healthy and well, and settling in at home. Lili is named after her great-grandmother, Her Majesty The Queen, whose family nickname is Lilibet. Her middle name, Diana, was chosen to honor her beloved late grandmother, The Princess of Wales."
The happy parents then posted a personal message that exuded joy from start to finish. "...She is more than we could have ever imagined, and we remain grateful for the love and prayers we've felt from across the globe. Thank you for your continued kindness and support during this very special time for our family," Meghan and Harry wrote.
While the world shares in the happiness of a new child for the family, the Heart of Invictus producers requested: "For those inquiring on sending gifts, we would ask that you support or learn more about these organizations working for women and girls: Girls Inc., Harvest Home, CAMFED or Myna Mahila Foundation."
After Prince Harry excitedly shared Archie's first word on James Corden's The Late Late Show, we can't wait to hear more adorable details about their growing family. Calm down, everyone; we wouldn't leave you on a cliffhanger like that! Little Archie's first word was "crocodile."
Congratulations, Meghan and Harry!
