Miley Cyrus Drops Latest Music Video with Inspiring Message
| LAST UPDATE 03/12/2021
The wait is finally over, folks. Just this week, Miley Cyrus dropped the much-anticipated music video for her latest single, Angels Like You. And if you thought we'd already seen it all? We've got a feeling her latest clip is about to prove you otherwise.
Sure, we watched her dangle from a wrecking ball; Twerk on the VMA's stage (remember that?); But Cyrus's Angels Like You video is nothing we'd ever seen before. And with good reason. Filmed during Miley's tailgate performance at this year's Super Bowl, the 4-minute clip gave us the backstage pass we never knew we needed.

But that's not the only reason her latest drop took the internet by storm. At the end of the dreamy video, the Plastic Hearts hitmaker blessed us with another surprise. Only this time, the handwritten message it called for came with a different purpose in mind: To help bring awareness to a very important current cause.
"This video was shot at the first concert of its size since the pandemic changed our lives," Cyrus revealed. As for the concert's lucky audience members? "The audience here is fully vaccinated healthcare workers who have been fearlessly + tirelessly fighting COVID-19." Which led MC to her next point...
“Each of us can help stop the pandemic by being vaccinated,” the Prisoner singer pleaded. “This can happen sooner than we may have thought with vaccines becoming more available,” she put it. “Together, we can make the experience of live music a reality again.” A cause we can certainly get behind!
But if by some chance her takeaway message didn't do the trick? Cyrus took to Twitter shortly after to reiterate her public plea. "We just have to do our part," she explained. We couldn't agree more, Miley.
“I hope you love what I have made for you & that you feel for just these few minutes that you were here in the crowd at the show with us," Cyrus finished off her message. "Soon...." As for what the future has in store? While only time will tell, hopefully, they'll be a party in the USA headed our way soon enough.
Until then, stay tuned.
