Here's What Nick Has To Say About Being Viewed As a Sex Symbol
| LAST UPDATE 05/11/2021
In a recent tell-all interview, Nick Jonas let us in on some juicy details. The boyband icon talked about married life, getting intimate, and what he thinks about being called a sex symbol. Here's everything you need to know.
Nick Jonas sat down with GQ Magazine and gave us all of the info we didn't know we needed on his music-making and relationship with wife Priyanka Chopra. Ever the romantic, the Jealous performer said Priyanka is the first person to hear new music. "Her input and opinions mean a lot to me, especially when it's something so directly tied to our experience and our relationship," the star explained.

But even a total #relationshipgoals couple like these two Hollywood lovebugs has disagreements sometimes, right? Nick was open about what happens if Priyanka doesn't like a song he plays for her, and it's all about honesty. "If there was something she was working on that I didn't feel was 100 percent what it could be, and vice versa, we would share that with each other out of love and respect for one another," Jonas said. Please excuse us as our hearts melt.
As for how the former Disney heartthrob feels about being considered a "sex symbol?" Not surprisingly, he finds it complimentary. "I think it's flattering," Nick admitted. "But attraction is such a nuanced thing. I don't take it too seriously. I just learn to laugh about it and think about the fact that my parents are probably reading some of the comments. It's not something I wear as a badge of honor. I tend to try to not think about it because it would make me feel a little embarrassed."
When asked if theThis Is Heaven singer knows fans use his songs to "soundtrack sweet lovemaking," Nick revealed he is aware and once again "flattered" by it - plus, Mr. Jonas himself has a special little playlist when getting intimate. "It's important to have a good playlist, and I certainly have mine. I wouldn't include my own music on that playlist, though," Nick said. "It is [quite off-putting]. But I would be thrilled if someone used my music on theirs for that experience." We're sure Priyanka would be, too.
