It seems like just yesterday Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra announced to the world that they had welcomed baby #2 via surrogacy. And while the celeb couple tries their best to keep the details of their home life on the down-low, they both hit the 'gram to share some exciting news in honor of Mother's Day. Here's the full scoop...
Our hearts are going out to Nick and Priyanka, who shared the "rollercoaster" they've been on following the birth of their daughter. "After 100 plus days in the NICU, our little girl is finally home," Nick Jonas wrote in his Instagram post. "Every family's journey is unique and requires a certain level of faith, and while ours was a challenging few months, what becomes abundantly clear, in retrospect, is how precious and perfect every moment is." It seems as though this experience left a profound mark on the new mom and dad, who sent out some love for parents going through similar situations. And, of course, they had plenty of thanks to send over to the medical team that helped their baby during those critical 100 days.
The mini Jonas-Chopra was cared for over at Rady Children's La Jolla and Cedar Sinai in Los Angeles, and the new parents couldn't be happier about the help the doctors and nurses provided during her journey in the NICU. But, as emotional as the start of parenthood was, Jonas and Chopra had their eyes set on the future. "Our next chapter begins now, and our baby is truly a bad*ss," Nick gushed. And, of course, it wouldn't be a Mother's Day post without a shout-out to his partner in crime, Priyanka! "Happy Mother's Day to all the incredible mothers and care takers out there, but I want to take a minute to say a special... wish to my incredible wife," the singer continued in the caption.
