Peter Weber Calls Kelley Flanagan's Break-Up Comments "Calculated"
| LAST UPDATE 05/28/2021
Unless you've been living under a rock, there's a good chance that you heard about the buzz surrounding The Bachelor's Peter Weber and Kelley Flanagan's split. Now, there have been more developments. Flanagan clearly ruffled some feathers with her recent interview, and Weber thought it was time to take back the mic.
The 29-year-old former bachelor used his podcast to share some thoughts. And the May 26th episode of Bachelors in the City really brought the heat. "I'm gonna be so brutally, brutally honest with you guys for however long this goes on for, and just speak from the heart," the pilot said. Regarding Flanagan's comments, Pete had some venting to do. "I thought it was very calculated. I thought, after hearing how it went, that it was very trying to push for a headline," he shared. "Very just calculated, very disingenuous." Now, that's some shade.
For those of us needing a refresher, Kelley took to Chicks in the Office to share her side of the split, and no feelings were spared. The 29-year-old attorney pointed to... Differing passions as the breakup's cause. Flanagan said Peter "loves Pokémon cards" and "playing video games." And while those weren't necessarily "bad things," it wasn't this gal's cup of tea. Kelley claimed that she eventually had to tell Peter to "get the hell out of [her] life." Harsh!
Apparently, Peter didn't anticipate their dirty laundry being aired. "That's too bad. I didn't necessarily expect that from Kelley—it kind of caught me off guard," the reality TV star said on Bachelors in the City. Things had been hot and heavy between Peter and his ex before the split. According to E! News, after nearly a year of dating, the lovebugs attempted a move to New York together. Things were looking up for Weber, who had two failed engagements already under his belt.
But in the latest round of drama, it looks like the ex-lover felt blindsided by Flanagan's words. Grab the popcorn, you guys. Something tells us that this battle of the podcasts is far from over. Until then, be sure to check back with us for all your Bachelor Nation news. That is if you're not too busy playing Pokémon... (Jokes).
