Tristan Thompson's name has been dominating the headlines lately and it doesn't look like it's going to stop anytime soon. His alleged third baby mama has broken her silence and we've got all the deets.
The mystery woman, named Maralee Nichols decided to speak her truth after she scored a major win against Thompson in court. Tristan filed a paternity lawsuit in Houston, Texas following Nichol's lawsuit that she filed in LA. However, according to E! News, Tristan's lawsuit was dismissed by a judge, marking a huge advantage for Maralee. As Tristan's request to have the case carried out in Texas was declined, it's most likely that Maralee will get her way and have the paternity suit heard in a Los Angeles court, which we have now learned is her home turf.
"Over the past couple of weeks, many inaccurate and false stories have been circulated about me," the new mom shared with E! News. "I have not at any point released - nor have I directed anyone else to release - any information regarding Tristan Thompson or any litigation involving him... I am providing this statement because I feel I must defend my character." Nichols went on to address the swarm of fake pictures, information, and even forged sonograms and baby pictures that have been flying around social media in recent weeks. But Maralee decided enough was enough, and wanted to set the record straight.
"These are the facts: I have lived in California since 2019. I am not a personal trainer. I have not worked as a personal trainer for four years; I do fitness modeling. I was never a personal trainer for Tristan," Maralee explained. This was no gym hookup, she explained that she met Tristan at a house party in his Californian pad back in 2020. "He told me he was single and co-parenting. I never would have gotten involved with Tristan if I thought he was in a relationship," Nichols confessed. Maralee and Tristan have entered into a battle of the timeline as they have their own take on the events leading up to the pregnancy.
Be sure to stay tuned, you guys. Something tells us that this story isn't going anywhere...
