In an exciting twist of events, Tristan Thompson, the NBA star known for his extracurricular activities, attempted to mend his fences with Kylie Jenner, who happens to be the sister of his ex-partner Khloe Kardashian. This apology came four years after Tristan's infamous escapade with Kylie's best friend, Jordyn Woods, which sent shockwaves through the Kardashian clan and the entertainment world. Now, Tristan is taking full blame for the canon event.

Amid what Tristan described as an "overdue" discussion at the Jenner family home, the Canadian basketball player told Kylie that he regretted hurting the makeup mogul the most. He told her, "I think you were affected the most by a situation of losing a sister, basically. You lost Jordyn, who is a big part of your life." He continued, "You guys were two peas in a pod. So, the fact that I put myself and her in a situation that wasn't right and wasn't smart made it tough for you and Khloe. Because, at the end of the day, you have your best friend and then you have your sister, who you love more than anything else."

To put the nail in the coffin, Tristan said, "It's 100 percent on me, but I want to say I'm sorry and I feel bad about it." Kylie, who's always been protective of her older sister, was surprisingly receptive to Thompson's apology. "Thanks for saying that, Tristan," Kylie said, her voice surprisingly forgiving. "I appreciate that. I think I was so co-dependent with Jordyn that I couldn't imagine my life without her. We probably would have still been living together."

It appears they are ready to move past the drama. Tristan, who shares daughter True, 5, and son Tatum, 15 months, with Khloe, described his actions as "selfish." Kylie admitted that it is "hard to forgive" what he did to her sister but that she was ready to "move on from that." Since early 2023, Kylie and Jordyn have tried to rekindle their friendship. In July, the duo were spotted exiting an LA restaurant together almost four years after the cheating scandal was exposed. While they may never be best friends again, the Kardashian-Jenner clan is making significant strides toward healing.
