It appears celebrations are in order - it is indeed, the start of something new: Gabriella Montez (well, Vanessa Hudgens) is officially an aunt! The High School Musical star's famous bestie just welcomed a baby. And we've got everything you need to know.
It all started back in March, as Ashley Tisdale took to the 'gram to announce her latest chapter: Motherhood! "Jupiter Iris French arrived earth side 3.23.21," the High School Music actress gushed of her little baby girl. Feel old yet?
But we weren't the only ones feeling nostalgic about the child-star's latest adventure. "Wow😍 Sharpay became MAMA🥰 Welcome to the earth little angel," one user quickly chimed. "Congrats Maddie/Sharpay/Ashley!" commented another.
Safe to say, Ash's little baby girl is already feeling all of the love. Including, of course, Auntie Vanessa, who wasted no time meeting her baby niece. "I melt over this angel," the Disney star gushed, as she cradled baby Jupiter. Same, Vanessa, same.
In case you forgot, Aunt Nessa and Ashley actually go back - like, way back. After starring on our screens together back in 2006, the High School Musical co-stars struck up a fast bond. Sure, they may have been rivals at East High. But off-screen? Gabriella and Sharpay were anything but.
"She’s so awesome and one of my best friends," Tisdale confessed to US Weekly of her off-screen BFF. "What I love about her is that she’s so talented, and I think what we share is that we’re really grounded people - I think that that’s important," she explained. But they're not the only A-listers who had lots to say after meeting one another on our screens.
Nonetheless, from musicals to motherhood, Ash and Aunt Nessa have certainly come a long way together. And we can't wait to see what comes next - though we'd say it's going to call for lots of lullabies and bedtime songs. "I’m going to come over and be the auntie who sings," as Hudgens herself joked.
