Is there anything that our girl Billie can't do? From snagging Oscar wins to dominating at the Grammys multiple years in a row, it seems like the sky's the limit for the 20-year-old artist. And now, she gets to add another huge win to her list of accomplishments. Eilish is officially the youngest artist to ever headline at Coachella.
It's safe to say that this was no small honor - and Billie was feeling the big shoes she had to fill. After all, past artists to rock the big stage included The Weeknd, Eminem, Jay-Z, Lady Gaga, and so many more! And if we know anything about Eilish, it's that she definitely doesn't let the fame get to her head. In fact, the Happier Than Ever artist shared her imposter syndrome with the thousands of fans that came to see her perform on April 16th. "I should not be headlining this s***!" Billie teased to a sea of adoring fans, who definitely disagreed. "But I'm so f****** grateful that I'm here and that you guys are all here. This is such a dream come true." And it's safe to say that this checked off a box on not only Billie's bucket list but a fair number of crowd members' as well.
The pop sensation kept the crowd roaring with Billboard-topping hits like when the party's over, everything i wanted, and Happier Than Ever. But she had more than repeat-worthy tracks to keep the fans entertained. Billie was also joined by some special guests, including Khalid and Gorillaz's lead singer Damon Albarn, too. Overall, it was a history-making performance that Billie only topped off with her final words before dipping off-stage. "Thank you Coachella!" she yelled out to her fans. "I'm sorry I'm not Beyoncé! I love you, goodnight." And TBH, we plan on ending all our convos with that apology from now on.
If you're feeling the FOMO like us, you can catch her performance of Oxytocin in the video above that Coachella graciously shared - and, of course, stay tuned for more updates from the world of entertainment!
