Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy and JFK Jr’s Romance Is the Subject of New Ryan Murphy Show

Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy and JFK Jr.'s whirlwind romance was beautiful, heated, and ended tragically when the couple passed away in a plane crash. And now, their stories have trickled through history all the way to the hands of director and producer Ryan Murphy.

The talented writer has just announced that his newest project will be a new anthology series called American Love Story, in which he will tell the winding tale of head-over-heels lovers John and Carolyn. From becoming an item in 1994, getting engaged the next year, and married in 1996, we're about to see it all.

The series will follow their captivating love story, blowout fights, and July 16, 1999- in the small plane they were taking to Martha's Vineyard. With JFK Jr. as the pilot, no one but he, Carolyn, and her older sister Lauren, who were aboard that day, knew the truth of how the plane went down.

Director Ryan Murphy is well known for focusing on some of the most dramatic and heart-stirring stories in history, specifically for one of his recent projects: American Crime Story. He creatively shared the OJ Simpson trial and assassination of Gianni Versace; now, his fans are gearing up for another great production.

The Kennedy couple were glamorous, eye-catching, and at the top of the in-crowd. But, will Murphy be able to capture their whimsical ways and drama-filled relationship accurately?
