The team that brought you the hit Netflix series Virgin River has another show coming out this fall. We are unbelievably excited about it, and who is cast in it (*wink*)! Here are the details on the upcoming CW show, Sullivan's Crossing.
One Tree Hill alum Chad Michael Murray, Gilmore Girls alum Scott Patterson, and Batwoman alum Morgan Kohan are all heading to Sullivan’s Crossing for this latest CW drama. It’s going to be one epic CW reunion on the network! The show is based on a book series of the same name written by Robyn Carr. The New York Times bestselling author is also the brains behind the books for the hit Netflix drama Virgin River, which the streaming platform has already renewed for a sixth season. The producers behind Virgin River are also working on this new show. We're already ready with our popcorn for the drama!
Sullivan’s Crossing follows the story of Maggie Sullivan, played by Kohan. She’s a neurosurgeon who returns to her hometown after her business partner is indicted for fraud, and Sullivan is charged with negligence. Now that she’s back in her childhood home, she must reunite with her estranged father, played by Patterson, and ends up meeting a charming new local, played by none other than Chad Michael Murray. #Swoon. We can already tell where this is going, and we are on board. The first season aired on CTV in Canada in March, and it’s now heading stateside. Sullivan’s Crossing will premiere on Wednesday, October 4, on the CW for a ten-episode run. There’s no need to panic because the show has already been picked up for a second season!
