Someone is getting a taste of their own medicine in the recently released season 4 trailer of the hit Netflix series You. This time serial killer Joe Goldberg, played by Penn Badgley, is the one being stalked. That's right. Keep scrolling.
The series follows the extremely charismatic Joe Goldberg as he becomes obsessed with certain people in his life, going to extremes to become part of their lives. In the first season, Joe managed a bookstore and became enamored by an aspiring writer who frequented the bookshop. Then, in the second season, Joe moves to Los Angeles and falls in love with an aspiring chef, Love Quinn, played by Victoria Pedretti. Through shocking twists and turns, it was revealed that Love also had quite a dark past. At the start of the third season, Joe and Love have moved away from sunny Los Angeles to a suburb in California. They are now parents and dealing with all the chaos that comes with being first-time parents. Joe begins obsessing over their next-door neighbor and the local librarian, which Love does not appreciate. After the chilling end to the third season, fans have been waiting to see what was going to happen in season four.
Finally, the time has come! Now fans are getting a closer look at what to expect from the upcoming fourth season. The trailer shows Joe posing as Professor Jonathan Moore, who has escaped halfway across the world to London, England. He seems to be adjusting to life across the pond quite well. He says in voiceover that, "Turns out teaching is fun," and that he became friends with a group of highly privileged friends. He tries to fight his instincts, but things take an unexpected turn. The police are investigating mysterious murders of the elite members of society by a killer who goes by the moniker Eat the Rich. Then, Joe receives a text message from the presumed murderer. Now he is being watched. The stalker has become the stalked! Joe asks, "I ran away from all this. But one of you is watching me. One of you is hiding in plain sight. So, who are you?" Who could it be?
