Lindsay Lohan is back, baby! The 35-year-old celebrity is making her way back into the entertainment world, and we are so here for it. Lolo, oh how we've missed you. After taking some time off from acting, Lohan announced a two-picture deal with Netflix in addition to her upcoming Netflix movie, Falling for Christmas. Here's what we know so far...
It's been a while since we've seen Lohan take the big screen, but we're all beyond thrilled to see her come back. The last movie the actress starred in was the 2013 drama The Canyons, and since then, we've seen her appear in a few TV series, but the actress has kept a relatively low profile compared to her usu. The Mean Girls star spent a few years in and out of rehab and prison between 2007 and 2013, but fast forward a few years, and the actress opened her own nightclub in Greece, moved to Dubai, is apparently into Bitcoin, and engaged! Lohan started acting when she was just a kid; if you recall her iconic role as Annie James/Hallie Parker in the 1998 hit film The Parent Trap and, of course, Freaky Friday- so we can only imagine what Netflix has in store for us.

The streaming platform has not released any details regarding the two films or when they will be released. Netflix's director of independent films, Christina Rogers, told The Hollywood Reporter, "We're so happy with our collaboration with Lindsay to date, and we're thrilled to continue our partnership with her. We look forward to bringing more of her films to our members around the world." The 2022 scheduled film, Falling for Christmas stars Lohan as a newly engaged hotel heiress and Chord Overstreet as a blue-collar lodge owner who romantically meet and end up spending the Christmas holidays together.

Now that the news has broken, we will all be patiently waiting for the actress's three upcoming Netflix movies. Some may call it a comeback, but at the end of the day, we're just excited to see the actress on our home screens again. So, in the meantime, stay tuned for more Linday Lohan details as we get them!
