Back in 2020, when we were all stuck at home, binging reality TV shows became a daily occurrence. Of course, one fan-favorite series was Netflix's dating show Love Is Blind. Now, nearly 2 years since its release, a second season is on its way! The official trailer was dropped and has made us even more excited to watch the show. Here's everything you need to know...

In case you forgot: the main goal of the show is to help a group of singles find their "perfect" significant other. Over the course of the series, the cast-mates meet one another during private dates. The catch? They can't see each other. Each person sits in pods and can hear their date, but the objective is not to judge them by their appearance (hence the name). Audiences aren't the only ones who enjoy the interesting dating idea. One competitor explained in the teaser, "The whole point is about finding out who we are as people." Another player noted, "I'm getting to know someone's heart before anything else." One candidate even confessed, "This experiment interests me, because you know, I don't have boobs and a butt." LOL.

The show isn't just successful as a series, but it has even formed lasting relationships between the contestants. Last season there were a few couples that ended up getting married. In November, Lauren Speed and Cameron Hamilton celebrated their 3 year anniversary! So did another one of the couples, Amber Pike and Matthew Barnett. Hopefully, the upcoming episodes will also lead the participants to find love. And if not, don't worry, because the dating show has already been renewed for a third season.

The series hosts, Vanessa Lachey and her husband Nick Lachey will also be returning for Season 2. They opened up the trailer by announcing, "The pods are officially open." So grab your popcorn, get into comfy clothes, and get ready to binge Love Is Blind on Netflix when it finally drops before Valentine's Day. The first five episodes will premiere on February 11, and episodes six to nine will be available to watch on February 18, until finally, the finale's debut on February 25. Until then, stay tuned!
