Get ready for another party in the USA: On December 31, Miley Cyrus will be returning to the stage for a New Year's Eve like no other. From Pete Davidson's confirmed cameo to the star-studded lineup, here's what you need to know about the big day.
On November 30, the queen herself took to the 'gram to confirm the news: "Everyone finding out me and Pete Davidson are hosting # Miley'sNewYear'sEveParty." Co-hosted by (*of course*) Miley and SNL legend Pete Davidson, the upcoming event is already lining up to be the party of the year. Not only are these two bound to go out with a bang(erz), but we've got another familiar face joining them.
As NBC further revealed, Lorne Michaels will be executive producing the entire night. Name ring a bell? The comedic legend is both the creator and executive producer of Saturday Night Live, which means you can expect a lot of laughs here. "In what is sure to be an exciting and fun evening, we are looking forward to partnering with Lorne Michaels and ringing in 2022 with a night of incredible entertainment," the streaming giant explained.
But that's not all you can expect. As per the official press release, get ready for "a star-studded lineup of special guests and musical performances." Consider us intrigued. Will Lil Nas X be joining his bestie on stage? Will Kim Kardashian be in the audience supporting her man? We've got lots of questions.
In case you forgot, Kim and Pete first had us shook after making their couple's debut back in November. From the steamy SNL sketch that started it all to their (not-so) secret Staten Island hangouts, #KimPe might just be the most unexpected couple to emerge from 2021. Then again, with a few weeks to go before 2022, all odds are off, aren't they?
Stay tuned. And, of course - be sure to catch Miley and Pete in action when Miley's New Year's Eve Party hits Peacock on December 31!
