In one of the most iconic scenes of Sex and the City, Samantha visits her doctor for her regular botox appointment and comes out looking "like beef carpaccio," according to Carrie. What went wrong?

Sam's doctor asked her if she was interested in a "freshening peel" that she was told could make her 10 to 20 years younger, so she quickly jumped at the chance. However, she came out with one less layer of skin and just on time for Carrie's book party, where she arrived with a black veil on to cover up her latest "impulse purchase."

The Baby Shower

Early in the series, we understand the connection Samantha, Carrie, Charlotte, and Miranda have with each other-they go way back! But when an old friend of theirs, Laney, invites them to her baby shower in the suburbs, the girls start reminiscing about their party days together.

Charlotte Wants Harry Back

There are few love stories like Charlotte York's and Harry Goldenblatt's. Despite not seeing it at first, Charlotte and Harry were meant to be together from the moment they met. But things took a turn after months of dating when Harry revealed to Charlotte that he couldn't marry her if she wasn't Jewish.

Before Charlotte York became Charlotte Goldenblatt, she was briefly Charlotte MacDougal. Of all the ladies, Charlotte is notoriously known for wanting to get married, have a family, and live happily ever after, so when she met the cardiologist, Trey MacDougal, she thought she had it all figured out.

Carrie Meets Aidan

There's so much to say about Carrie Bradshaw and Aidan Shaw, so let's start at the beginning. We were first introduced to Aidan in Season 3 when Standford and Carrie saw the cute furniture designer's photo in the paper and decided to pay him a visit at his studio.

Carrie and Aidan Break Up

After years of confusion with Big, everything felt simple with Aidan. However, we know simple only lasts for a short time when it comes down to Carrie Bradshaw's relationships. After months of dating Aidan, Carrie sees Big and Natasha at a furniture show, where he confesses to Carrie his relationship with his wife is falling apart.

Despite turning him away at first, telling Big she was happily in love with Aidan, the two began an affair. Carrie harbored the secret for quite some time before confessing to Aidan and even asked him if they could stay together despite the affair. But he couldn't look past it, and they split, and all of our hearts were shattered.

Carrie Asks Mr. Big Why He Didn't Pick Her

But before there was Aidan, there was Big. The couple met in the series' first episode and automatically fell head over heels for each other. Despite being intensely in love, they just couldn't figure it out long enough to stay together. Big eventually married Natasha, "the idiot stick figure with no soul," as Carrie described her.

Once the news broke of Carrie and Big's engagement, Carrie couldn't help being heartbroken. However, by the end of Season 2, she is able to confront her ex just after his engagement party, asking him, "Why wasn't it me," To which he responds, "I don't know. It just got so hard. The Country

In this episode, Aidan quite literally drags Carrie out to his country home in Suffern, New York, after the two get back together following her affair with Big. After the affair ended, Carrie and her ex decided to try out the whole "being friends thing," which clearly ended with a messy outcome.

Big calls Carrie for relationship advice, which ends up in Carrie inviting him to the cabin - not a good idea. Although he says he will meet her outside for a quick chat, it starts pouring rain, and Aidan being Aidan invites him in. However, things get heavy pretty quickly, and they start fighting with each other (over Carrie).

The Infamous Post-It

The Post-It Always Sticks Twice episode will go down in history as one of the best and most relatable from the franchise. After Carrie's back and forward relationships with her two great loves, Aidan and Big, she meets fellow writer Jack Berger, and according to Carrie herself, she "sparked with this person."

However, things took a sharp turn when Carrie revealed to the girls at lunch that Berger dumped her with a post-it note that read, "I'm sorry, I can't. Don't hate me." Speechless. Sure, they hadn't been a couple for so long, but that's just a brutal way to break up with someone. Goodbye, Berger.

Samantha Breaks Up With Richard

One of Samantha's longest relationships comes to an end in Season 5 when she breaks up with millionaire hotel magnate Richard Wright. After seeing Jones live the ultimate single gal life for so long, fans loved seeing her find love with someone who at first seemed like the right guy for her until he cheated on her and broke her heart.

Sam wanted to give him another chance, but ultimately couldn't trust him and ended her relationship with Richard in his hotel room where she expected to catch him cheating. Miranda Meets Robert Leeds

Although we were always rooting for Steve and Miranda's relationship, when the dedicated lawyer met Dr. Robert Leeds in Season 6, we definitely weren't upset about it. Miranda met the sports doctor when he was applying to live in her building, and needless to say, he was accepted.

However, the breakup was inevitable. Robert gifts Miranda a giant cookie with the words "I love you" written on it, and she immediately freaks out and realizes that she couldn't say it back. "How can I love him if I can't even say the words?" she asks Carrie. She then realizes it's because she is still very much in love with Steve.

The Yankee Game

What an iconic episode. Carrie and Big have just broken up, and somehow the girls end up at a Yankees game. Despite Charlotte's rule that it takes half the time of a relationship to get over it, Miranda convinces the girls that attending a baseball game would be fun, and it was, in fact, a home run!

Samantha's Identity Fraud

Samantha was on a mission to join Soho House, an exclusive, members-only club, and she was going to do anything she could to get herself there. It was a scorching hot NYC summer, and the members-only club had a swimming pool-and Samantha wanted in.

During their stay, Carrie and Samantha attended a movie premiere after-party where they spotted the one and only Hugh Hefner, and immediately Sam ran over to introduce herself.

One of the more serious storylines of Sex and the City was when Samantha Jones found out she had breast cancer. The publicist found it difficult to share the news at first with her movie star boyfriend, Smith Jerrod, but after letting herself be vulnerable with him, he was completely supportive during the whole process.

After starting to lose her hair, Samantha decided to shave her hair off instead, but as she got started, Smith walked in, confused. Samantha and Smith are one of those couples that we always wanted to see work out, especially after seeing the way he stood with Samantha during her cancer diagnosis. Before Sam decided to shave her head, she opted to go wig shopping with Carrie in order to find the perfect wig for Smith's premiere that still looks like her.

During Season 4 of SATC, the girls are having brunch, as per usual, when Miranda reveals to the girls she's pregnant. At first, Miranda grapples back and forth with the idea of wanting to keep the baby and telling Steve, the father. But after visiting the clinic, she has a change of heart and tells him.

Carrie and Stanford Decide To Get Married

We can't write a whole article dedicated to the best moments of Sex and the City without mentioning one of our favorite characters of all time, Stanford! Stanford is Carries' gay BFF and was the source of many integral and hilarious moments on the show.

In season 1, Stanny tells Carrie he needs to get married to get an inheritance, but his grandmother, whose in control of the money, doesn't know he's gay. Carrie's First Date With Alexander Petrovsky

Say what you will, but Alexander Petrovsky was certainly one of the most influential men in Carry's dating pool. After attending an art gallery exhibition with Charlotte, Bradshaw meets "the Russian," aka Alexander Petrovsky, and immediately finds him intriguing, and the artist himself feels the same.

At the height of her relationship with Petrovsky, she ends up moving around the world to Paris with him as he gets ready for a new art exhibition. However, her fairy tale ending was waiting for her around the corner, and his name was not Alexander Petrovsky; it was Mr. Big.

Obviously, the girls were furious at Big and devastated for Carrie after the big day didn't go as planned. They did everything they could to support their best friend, including never seeing Big. However, plans changed when a very pregnant Charlotte spotted him sometime later at a cafe, where she quickly got up and ran outside.

Two years after the first movie came to a close, where we saw Charlotte give birth to a beautiful baby girl and Big and Carrie finally tie the knot, we see the ladies get back together for yet another eventful movie. This time, Charlotte, Samantha, Carrie, and Miranda head to Abu Dabi on a glamorous Arabian desert trip.
